Maintenance Course
- Our maintenance courses enable trainees to understand the operational theory of the systems and subsystems including the transfer case, axles, engine, transmission, as well as the vehicle’s hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical systems, and armored hull structure and components as they relate to vehicle maintenance activities.
- In addition, proper repair and diagnosis of the above systems include extensive coverage of the hydraulic fan, steering, air braking, auxiliary air, chassis electrical, engine electrical, and transmission electrical systems.
- Upon successful completion of the course the trainees will:
- Be familiar with all the vehicle systems and sub-systems
- Understand the maintenance policy of the vehicle
- Know and be well practiced with the maintenance procedures
- Be able to perform preventive maintenance
- Be able to perform troubleshooting and corrective maintenance
- Be familiar with all safety instructions regarding maintenance
- Properly report maintenance incidents
